Benchmarking results with Freescale Semiconductor
PowerQUICC
III and Mocana Acceleration Harness 2.0.
Mocana recently performed benchmarking
tests using Freescale's 1 GHz MPC8555 PowerQUICC III processor
with Acceleration Harness 2.0 and achieved outstanding results.
Benchmarking on the Mocana Embedded SSL Server, Mocana was
able to achieve throughput performance of over 480 megabits
per second (Mbps), thereby exceeding Freescale's estimates
for protocol processing overhead and exceeding performance
estimates the company provides to its customers. Using the
Mocana Device Security Framework with Freescale's MPC8555
PowerQUICC III processor, businesses can transfer large
amounts of data faster and more efficiently than ever before.
