We are a network security technology company based in San Francisco's Financial District. Our company provides a wide range of high-performance security software for embedded and non-embedded devices. We're seeking talented, motivated individuals to expand our capabilities and continually improve our ability to deliver products of the highest caliber.
The application developer is responsible for creating the application layer and optimizing our security-related software projects on various platforms, including mobile devices. He or she will work with a combined team of tech writers, QA engineers, and support engineers to produce complete software products covering project documentation (design, support, documentation planning), software test, and support resources for the product once released.
Responsibilities:
Working with customers and partners on product requirements
Design and implementation for security-related software projects
Develop applications for various mobile platforms
Create software design and architecture documentation
Work with QA to develop unit, functional, and system tests for authored software
Provide timely response to support engineering and to customers directly regarding software defects and product customization requests
Requirements:
Solid grasp of computer science and programming fundamentals
Strong experience with C OR strong experience with Java OR GUI design/implementation
Working knowledge of at least 2 of the following areas: web technologies, networking, security, data management, IPSec
Linux Kernel Level, plus
Experience with scripting languages for automated testing, such as Python, Tcl/Tk or Ruby
Linux/Unix environment experience
Must be a team player and be enthusiastic to learn and explore new technologies
Education:
BSEE or BSCS, or related experience
