NanoGame Components

NanoGame Client
Authenticates and secures communications from electronic game machines (EGMs) up to game servers, and includes a specially-enhanced SCEP client that automates tedious key generation, certificate enrollment and revokation tasks. Mocana’s NanoGame client is an standards-based full featured and RFC-compliant SSL/TLS and SCEP+OCSP client. NanoGame client is uniquely architected with an asynchronous core to fully leverage hardware acceleration, is extremely portable and has an incredibly small memory footprint. It is ideally suited to securing gaming, voice, video and data communications.

NanoGame Server
Encrypts and authenticates communications down to electronic gaming machines (EGMs) and includes an enhanced SCEP client that automates tedious key generation, certificate enrollment and revokation functions. The NanoGame SSL/TLS (Secure Sockets Layer/Transport Layer Security) implementation authenticates endpoints and encrypts channels to provide session privacy and security on the Internet. The NanoGame SSL/TLS module operates at a higher level in the OSI stack than IPsec, and supports peer negotiation for algorithm selection, public key based exchange of secret session keys and X.509 certificates.

NanoGame CA Server
The NanoGame CA Server issues X.509 certificates for your entire casino operator network and builds on the SCEP protocol to automate certificate administrative tasks like registering end entities, revoking certificates, and publishing CRLs.

NanoGame Update
Where once firmware was read-only and fixed, today most firmware can be dynamically updated, giving “old” gaming hardware new features and capabilities. NanoGame Update is high performance Secure Firmware Update solution for electronic gaming devices. NanoGame Update enables firmware images and other messages to be securely pushed out to devices in the field automatically, eliminating the need for insecure manual methods, like email, TFTP, FTP, HTTP, or physical DVDs. NanoGame Update’s command line tool can optionally create PKCS #7 - digitally signed messages which can be published for clients and users to access for more traditional update pull-downs. The signed message is then downloaded, authenticated, verified, de-capsulated, saved and/or acted upon.
